The short answer
Set your usual wake and sleep times, then log drinks and bathroom visits as they happen. Use reminders to follow your Drink, Sip and Sleep phases, add a widget for quick access, and review your history to see how your routine is developing.
Set a schedule that reflects your day
Noctur combines water tracking, a pee log and a bladder diary with a daily hydration rhythm. Your drinks and bathroom visits appear around a 24-hour ring so you can see their timing together.
Set your usual wake and sleep times to frame the Drink, Sip and Sleep phases. Update them when your schedule changes.
For an introduction to the routine, read the circadian hydration guide.
Log a drink or bathroom visit while it is fresh
Use a common amount for a quick entry or add more detail when you need it. Drink entries record time and volume, with notes for context. Pee entries can include volume, color, urgency, discomfort and notes.
Log what you drank while it is fresh in your mind. If you only drank part of a bottle, record that amount. Add a note when there is something you want to remember later.
Keep your rhythm with reminders
Reminders help you keep your hydration routine in mind during the day. Use them for phase changes or moments when you tend to forget to drink.
Choose a schedule that fits your day and allow notifications in your device settings. Adjust reminders as you settle into a routine.
Keep Noctur within reach with widgets
Widgets show your current phase or hydration status at a glance. Quick logging widgets let you record a drink or bathroom visit without opening the full app.
Open your device’s widget picker, search for Noctur and choose the widget you want. Put it somewhere convenient so checking your phase or adding an entry takes little effort.
Review your routine over time
Review your history by day, week or month. Look at how drinking is spread through the day and how often bathroom visits happen during your sleeping hours.
As you build a steadier daytime routine and lighter evenings, use the charts to follow the pattern over time.
You can export your history as a CSV to review it further or share it with a health professional. The bladder diary guide explains which details may be useful for an appointment.
Start with one useful habit
Start with logging your drinks and setting a schedule you can follow. Add bathroom visits to keep track of nighttime trips, then try a widget or reminder where it helps.
If you miss an entry, carry on with the next one. Small, consistent habits make the routine easier to maintain.
